Critical Area of Need for Volunteers
We appreciate our volunteers, without whom this show would not happen! Please give us a few hours of your time. We desperately need volunteers for Take Down, Quilters Walk, Member Table, Show Set up, Merchandise and white glove. Each shift is two-hours and will grant you admission to the show either on the day you volunteer or another day of your choosing. We are offering a chair for the standing positions, you need not stand the whole time during your shift. Please contact Sylvia Schrock, Volunteer Chair, to commit to your volunteer time slot: volunteer@mainequilts.org or 207-754-5174 Volunteer Needed to Host a Teacher I have a great opportunity open to spend 3 nights 4 days, with one of our Teachers, Marci Baker. We are looking for an individual who lives near the Augusta Civic Center to host one of our teachers, Marci Baker, in a cat free environment. The teacher would need a place to stay arriving Wednesday evening, July 22, 2026 leaving Saturday, July 25, 2026. She would also need a ride back and forth to the Augusta Civic Center each day. The hours of her classes are 8:30 – 4:30. If you are interested in hosting one of our teachers, please get back to Rosemary Griffin info@Mainequilts.org as soon as you can.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES TO REMEMBER:
July 15: Box Lunch order forms must be purchased by July 15th! Lunch orders received after July 15th will not be accepted. The order form is on our website – www.mainequilts.org – under the tab, Maine Quilts, Show & Workshop Registration.
July 15: Thursday night banquet reservations must be made by July 15th! Reservations will not be accepted after July 15th. Make your Thursday night banquet reservation now!
July 18: Quilt Delivery Day to the site you checked off on your quilt registration entry. Be sure to arrive between 10 am and 1 pm. I can’t wait to see all your quilts hung at the show!
