Seasonal Quilts from the New England Quilt Museum Collection

The New England Quilt Museum presents Seasonal Quilts from the museum collection. The exhibit features about one hundred fifty years of quilts ranging from a c 1860 botanical Leaf coverlet to a 2008 art quilt titled, Squam Lake-Early Autumn. Included is A Tree Spirit, Northern Red Oak by award winning quilter Ruth McDowell, who was inducted into the Quilters’ Hall of Fame in 2014. Also included is a Baltimore Album-style quilt made by members of the Cocheco Quilters’ Guild.
