Quilt Registration Opens Today, February 1!  Maine Quilts provides members of PTQG and other quiltmakers the opportunity to share their work with those who appreciate this wonderful art form. Maine Quilts 2023 Friday Night Banquet: An Evening with Jen Kingwell Jen Kingwell of Jen Kingwell Designs from Torquay, Australia will be the keynote speaker at Friday night’s banquet! You will NOT want to miss your opportunity to spend an evening with Jen.  The Journey of Jen Jen speaks of her journey over the years, from humble Hexi beginnings to travelling the world teaching her hand stitching techniques. Some things you should know: Workshop Registration will be online only, beginning March 15th for Pine Tree Quilt Guild members.  Non-members may register beginning April 15th.  There will not be a paper form. It is my pleasure to say “hello” to you as your new Maine Quilts Coordinator! We may have had the opportunity to meet during my time as PTQG Membership Registrar, Area 4 Rep or QSA Chairperson or my other identity as “Gadget Queen” over the past several years. Best in Judged winner Sarah Ann Smith with her “Best of Judged” entry “The Wind Whirls the Winter In.” She has since renamed her work: “I love the title I entered, but after I began making it realized it didn’t suit because if it were windy, then the snow blobs would be on the ground and not still on the tree!
