Quilt Registration Opens Today, February 1!  Maine Quilts provides members of PTQG and other quiltmakers the opportunity to share their work with those who appreciate this wonderful art form. Have you selected which quilts you’ll be entering in this year’s show? Each person may submit up to four quilts. Get your quilts out of the cupboard and on display! It is my pleasure to say “hello” to you as your new Maine Quilts Coordinator! We may have had the opportunity to meet during my time as PTQG Membership Registrar, Area 4 Rep or QSA Chairperson or my other identity as “Gadget Queen” over the past several years. As I transition into my new role as Maine Quilts Coordinator one thing remains the same: the passion for quilting that can be found in Maine. Best in Judged winner Sarah Ann Smith with her “Best of Judged” entry “The Wind Whirls the Winter In.” She has since renamed her work: “I love the title I entered, but after I began making it realized it didn’t suit because if it were windy, then the snow blobs would be on the ground and not still on the tree!
