- Completed leaf block for a drawing (If you bring a block, a tree’s worth of quilty leaves could be won!)
As in years past, we are inviting members to make and bring with them a 6-inch finished (6.5-inch unfinished) block for a drawing. This year we have chosen the very easy maple leaf block shown below. Color suggestions: fall colors (reds, oranges, yellows, or green) for the leaf, and blues or creams (light or medium) for the background.
For easy instructions on constructing the block, please visit the following link or consult your favorite quilting resource:
We will also have a quilt-themed gift basket drawing (suggested donation $2.00) and door prizes for attendees, as well as beverages and desserts to go with your brown bag lunch.
So please join us in our new meeting space at the Lutheran Church in Ellsworth! We look forward to seeing your lovely faces (not on zoom!).
