Doors open at 5:00 PM, Supper at 5:30, guest speaker 6:30, Show ‘n Tell to follow Speaker Heidi Boyd, fabric designer and fiber artist. Heidi will have some of her fabrics and kits available for sale. Please bring a 10 ½” unfinished, untrimmed log cabin block using layout below. All blocks start with a red center. Show is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crafters tables, quilter's yard sale, a quilt walk with small quilts and other handmade items. Lunch will be available. Admission is free, donations are accepted.
The evening will begin with a buffet of sandwiches, salads, beverages and desserts. The vendor for the evening will be Half Square Quilt Shop. And of course there will be door prizes. Our speaker for the evening will be Susan Rooney, from Fairport, NY, who designs fabrics and patterns. I believe she may have patterns and products available after the presentation. The program including a trunk show is “The Process of Designing Fabric & Patterns”.
