Art Quilts Maine Touring Quilts can be viewed at the Rockport Public Library, 1 Limerick Street, Rockland. The quilts will be on display from January 25, 2025 - February 22, 2025. Viewing times for this display: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and Wednesday: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
10:00: Business Meeting 12:30 (roughly) - Guest Speaker (Laurie Lebar) - Curator at the Maine State Museum for past 23 years. She curated nationally recognized exhibits, authored and co-authored many papers and books, expertly cared for Maine’s cultural heritage, and traveled across the state as a lecturer. One of Laurie’s finalprojects at the museum was setting up an exhibition at the museum based on her book, "Maine Quilts: 250 Years of Comfort and Community".
