After lunch Lynn Wheatley from Vermont will be the featured speaker. Lynn’s lecture is titled “Rocket Scientist to Rotary Cutter and Beyond.” This is the story of her quilting journey. Tacoma Lakes Quilters is having a Quilters' & Crafters' Yard Sale on Saturday, September 17th at the Morning Star Lodge, 2422 Hallowell Rd, Litchfield from 9-3 - all inside -rain or shine. 15 tables, lots of items including fabric, notions, books, patterns, yarn, and other craft supplies. We will also be selling raffle tickets on our beautiful quilt with the drawing @ 3 pm. Hope to see you there.
The Clueless Quilters are hosting a quilt show on Saturday October 8 from 9 am to 3 pm. Location: The Meeting House on Route 222, Stetson, ME There will be quilt and craft vendors, tea cut raffle, and sales table. Lunch will be available. Free admission. Donations accepted.

“ Anything Goes Fashion Show” Planned by - Backroad Quilter’s Lunch will be provided. Admission: $5.00 Wear or bring a (new or loved) fashion item you have made and/or a quilt for Show and Tell. Maybe your whole Chapter had a workshop and made items you could share and tell about. We will need a head count by October 10th. We realize some may not like to drive home at night. The January Members’ Meeting will be held at Hope Church, 728 Western Avenue, Manchester, Maine, beginning at 10 a.m. with the business meeting, show and tell, and lunch, followed by the speaker, Brooke Biette of Dust and Waves Textiles. Brooke is a Maine native who moved west, landing in Arizona for a few years, and is now back in Maine. She has 30 years of quilting experience and 5 years of self-taught ice and snow dyeing of fabric. Brooke will talk a bit about her dyeing process, how and why she got started, how she mixes dyed fabrics with contemporary and vintage fabrics in her
