Jeannie began her sewing and crafting journey as a child. Mentored by her mother and grandmother, she practiced a variety of needlecrafts and started quilting in the mid 1980s making a baby quilt for her daughter. As a grownup she has enjoyed teaching both children and adults. She taught sewing and craft classes at Joann Fabric for several years and now teaches quilt classes on her own.
In 2016 she discovered Sew Kind of Wonderful’s (SKOW) contemporary curved piecing methods. Having made several of their patterns, she became a certified teacher in 2023. She has made over 30 of their designs, always looking forward to learning new ones. She is a member of the SKOW Quilt Circle.
