Maine Quilts 2021 is adding live Demos through Zoom!!

Here it is June already and the Virtual Quilt show is only a month away. When we first started to plan a virtual quilt show it seemed a long way off and now it is almost here.

The Quilt show Advisory board would like to thank all those who registered a quilt. You are really going to enjoy all the quilts you will see!

We are getting very excited about some of the upcoming events for the quilt show.

Carol Reed has been working very hard with the venders and sponsors to bring demonstrations to the quilt show. The demonstrations will be free, yes FREE! to all who pay for admission to the quilt show. You just have to sign-up for each one.

The demonstrations will be held each day of the quilt show July 29th, 30th, and 31st. The times of the demonstration are to be at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. The demonstrations will be approximately 30 minutes. Those of you who have enjoyed the free demonstrations at the quilt show in the past will not be disappointed in the demonstrations this year. You will hear of the latest gadgets and get new techniques just to name a couple of the things to look forward to. These will be held on Zoom and will be interactive. Which means if you have a question or comment you can ask away.

We will share the schedule as soon as Carol has it altogether. We will send it through our email system and post it on our website. You will need to sign in with your user id and password or sign up with admission and then select the demonstration(s) you want to enjoy. A different Zoom link will be made available to you for each demo you select. Sign-up right away as there may be different numbers of entrants allowed for each demo. Don’t miss out!

We are looking forward to seeing you all next month and share Maine Quilts 2021 with you, July 29-31!
