Already we have had a few nights where a good quilt was needed on the bed and we’re seeing apples and cider doughnuts everywhere – it’s definitely fall! There is a lot going on behind the scenes in terms of planning for Maine Quilts 2021; but there is one area where we need your help. The Volunteer Chairperson for 2021 remains open. Volunteers make the show happen, so it is a key role. Please contact me via email or the phone number above and we can talk about the specific requirements in more detail.
In the last newsletter, we talked about HERStory, the special exhibit carrying over from the 2020 show. We will have a second special exhibit in July called “Visionary; How Do Artists See?” To get a sneak peek of these stunning pieces, visit the show look book. This exhibit is curated by Studio Art Quilt Associates.
For all of our news, don’t forget to like and follow our Facebook page! You can help us publicize the show when you share our posts with your connections.
Finally, here is the block we designed for 2021; it’s inspired by this year’s Theme Challenge, Duck, Duck Goose. Don’t forget that you can also submit your 2020 Needle to Needle Theme Challenge works as well!
