Silent Auction Donation form 2019

Maine Quilts 2019!

July 25-27, 2019, Thursday – Saturday

The Silent Auction is back!! This year Maine Quilts is happy to be using the proceeds of this auction to support the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence (MCEDV).

We need your help in several ways.

First, please consider making a donation to the Silent Auction. We are accepting homemade items such as lap quilts, purses, wall hangings, or other quilted items. We will also happily accept other items including gift cards to restaurants, quilt shops or anywhere that you would like to shop. Other suitable donations could include household items, books or other similar items. All donated items should have a minimum value of $25.00. If you are interested in making a donation please fill out the form and send it to me. You can email me the form info@mainequilts.org. I will work with the chair of the committee and volunteers to make sure your donations get to the show.

Second, please take a look at all of the items and make a bid on your favorites!! You will find many opportunities to find some great deals and support a great organization.

Finally, and most importantly, stop by the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence table while you are at the show. Look at the brochures and participate in “Take Action Maine”. Briefly tell others what you are doing or what like to do to end domestic violence in the State of Maine.

Many of us have been touched by domestic violence directly or indirectly. We know how devastating domestic violence can be to both women and children. The MCEDV operates the statewide domestic abuse helpline. In addition, they provide support to domestic violence programs throughout the state in a variety of ways including training and policy work. Supporting this group is an important way to take a stand against domestic violence and support programs that work to increase safety for all women in the State of Maine. Let’s show the MCEDV that we care about the safety of all women in the State of Maine!
