Pat Harrison is a Certified Quilt Judge and Webmaster of the National Association of Certified Quilt Judges. The NACQJ was formed in 2015 upon the dissolution of the National Quilting Association, the original quilt judge certification program association.
Pat teaches, lectures, and judges nationally in addition to being a pattern designer and award-winning long-arm quilter. A retired school librarian and teacher, she has won numerous awards for her quilts and her customer quilts at major shows including AQS Paducah and IQA Houston. Her original design quilts are frequently featured in quilting magazines.

She lives in rural Rhode Island with her retired mechanical engineer husband Bob, of “Bob’s Featherweights” their two Westies, and enjoys visiting with her two adult daughters and 3 grandkids.

You Be The Judge
PowerPoint lecture introduction sets the stage for lots of hands-on practice that takes the quilter through the process of quilt judging from design to construction to binding. Students may bring their own quilts to be evaluated, teacher samples may be used, or a combination of the two. Students will develop a direction to follow to improve their own creations.
Ideal for the quilter seeking to enter their quilts into judged shows or seeking to improve their quilting for their own pleasure.
