The Members meeting will be held at Hope Church, 728 Western Avenue, Manchester, Maine beginning at 10 a.m. with the business meeting, show and tell and lunch, followed by the speaker Brooke Biette of Dust and Waves Textiles.  

Brooke is a Maine native who moved west landing in Arizona for a few years and is now back in Maine.  She has 30 years of quilting experience and 5 years of self-taught ice and snow dying of fabric.

Brooke will talk a bit about her dying process, how and why she got started, how she mixes dyed fabrics with contemporary and vintage fabrics in her projects, where her project inspiration comes from and more.  She has a few quilts that she will bring and a bunch of fabric examples.
