All are welcome, bring a brown bag lunch, and enjoy a lecture by Nancy Mahoney. We need a minimum of 60 members in attendance to vote for officer nominees. We will be voting on new Board members for the 2022-2023 year! After lunch Lynn Wheatley from Vermont will be the featured speaker. Lynn’s lecture is titled “Rocket Scientist to Rotary Cutter and Beyond.” This is the story of her quilting journey. Special Events at September Members’ Meeting! Redwork Display! We Love Redwork! Hope Baptist Church 726 Western Ave., Manchester, ME, United StatesThe January Members’ Meeting will be held at Hope Church, 728 Western Avenue, Manchester, Maine, beginning at 10 a.m. with the business meeting, show and tell, and lunch, followed by the speaker, Brooke Biette of Dust and Waves Textiles. Brooke is a Maine native who moved west, landing in Arizona for a few years, and is now back in Maine. She has 30 years of quilting experience and 5 years of self-taught ice and snow dyeing of fabric. Brooke will talk a bit about her dyeing process, how and why she got started, how she mixes dyed fabrics with contemporary and vintage fabrics in her

Hope Baptist Church 726 Western Ave., Manchester, ME, United StatesThe Fall Member’s meeting of the Pine Tree Quilters Guild, Inc will be held on Saturday, September 9th at 10 a.m. Following lunch, Gladi Porsche, Gladi Porsche Quilts – Gladi Porsche Quilts (gladiquilts.net) will be the lecturer. Gladi designs her own quilts and will be telling us about her journey with a trunk show. Hope to see many of you there.

After lunch, our speaker, Bonnie Dwyer, will share some of her family’s quilts talk about “Six Generations of Maine Quiltmakers.”

Wendy Caton Reed will present a trunk show that involves a short bit of quilt history. She will follow with a spectacular showing of historic quilts that will show how techniques and fabrics have changed over time. You won’t want to miss this informative talk!
