SUMMARY:Area 1 Fall Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The evening will begin with a buffet of sandwiches\, salads\, beverages and desserts. The vendor for the evening will be Half Square Quilt Shop. And of course there will be door prizes. \nOur speaker for the evening will be Susan Rooney\, from Fairport\, NY\, who designs fabrics and patterns. I believe she may have patterns and products available after the presentation. \nThe program including a trunk show is “The Process of Designing Fabric & Patterns”. Her designing interests include fabric\, patterns and machine embroidery. “Susan will share her inspirations\, the experience of designing for manufacturers and the benefits of self publishing patterns in house. She has a degree in graphic designs and experience in the licensing art and design industry for over 25 years.” She writes\, “Susan Rooney Patterns is about creating innovative design concepts for quilting and sewing. Our signature wave edges and 3D elements add extra interest and texture to our diverse selection of patterns and projects for various ages and skill levels.”   \nWe are asking for non-perishable food donations which will be given to the Biddeford Food Pantry. There will be a special raffle for those bringing donations.
