Beth Ferrier of Applewood Farm Publications from Wisconsin will be joining us April 26, 27 and 28, 2019. A quilter since 1975, and a needle worker, Beth has had a lifelong love affair with needle and thread. An inability to follow instructions coupled with a talent for giving directions led to the birth of Applewood Farm Publications, Inc., Beth’s publishing company. They have published four books, including Hand Applique by Machine, and dozens of patterns are for sale in quilt shops around the world. A teacher by nature, it was only a matter of time before quilting classes began. “It’s important to me that every student come away from my class eager for the next challenge”. A class with Beth is always great fun!

She has appeared on HGTV’s Simply Quilts with Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson. She has been nominated for the Professional Quilter’s Teacher of the year award twice. She will be offering two classes for us and give a lecture and trunk show for our April meeting at Thomas College in Waterville.
