Quilting Classes for Children

Maine Quilts is again offering classes for children. These classes will be held on Sunday afternoon, July 27 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. Space will be limited to ten students per class. The cost for each class is $15; there is no registration fee.

To register, please use the WORKSHOP & EVENT REGISTRATION FORM. Use a separate form for each child. Please include the child’s age. The child’s parent or guardian, not the child, should sign the registration form.The workshop registration form is available on-line as a PDF . You can complete the form on-line but must print, sign and mail it.
You will need the free software, Adobe Reader to open the form.


701 Introduction to Quilting FULL

This class is only for children ages 7-14 with no previous quilting experience. Learn the basics of quilting while creating a four-patch pillow. All fabric, supplies and tools will be provided.

702 Fabric Postcard  FULL

This class is for children ages 8-14 who know how to use a sewing machine and have made at least one quilt. In this class, we’ll make a fabric postcard. Fabric kits will be provided. A supply list will be sent with confirmation.
