Volunteer Opportunities

A show of this size and complexity would be impossible without the help of PTQG members and others. We need volunteers for various duties during show hours. We also need volunteers to help with show set up on Wednesday, July 28 and Thursday, July 29, and especially show take down on Sunday, August 1. Most shifts are for two hours; you may work as many shifts as you wish.Won’t you donate two or more volunteer hours to Maine Quilts 2010?

Volunteer Grand PrizeYou will receive two fat quarters for every two hours that you volunteer. Plus for every two hours you volunteer, your name will be entered into the daily drawings for fabric kits and other prizes One lucky volunteer will be the winner of the grand prize, a new Janome DC2010 sewing machine donated by The Fabric Garden, Madison, Maine.

Also you will receive free admission to the show on the day you volunteer. Those who volunteer on Wednesday or Thursday will have their postcard stamped that day; this validated postcard may then be redeemed for one-day admission on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

To volunteer, please complete the Volunteer Sign Up form. You can complete the form on-line but must print and mail it to Sharon. You will need the free software, Adobe Reader to open the form. Get Adobe Reader

Questions? Contact Volunteer Coordinator, Sharon Mullett.

Thank you for volunteering!
The success of any large event such as this relies on the good will of volunteers.
