(80 x 80) Loving traditional in a nontradtitional way, I hand and machine appliqued this quilt based on my trip to Darwin, Australia as an exchange student in high school. The colors remind me of the tropical beauty of Darwin; possibly as Charles Darwin saw it for the first time. The quilting motifs are original and complete my journey into the future. Original design. Hand appliqued, machine appliqued, machine quilted (la, sr, mqfs).
