Lisa Erlandson

Lisa Erlandson is a compulsive quilt collector whose habit has led to several quilt-related specialties. Lisa is an AQS Certified Appraiser of Quilted Textiles, quilt restorer, quilt show judge and quilt historian. In addition to collecting and occasionally selling vintage quilts and fabrics and restoring and repairing new and old quilts, she finds time to make a few quilts of her own.

In 2002, she was named “Best Quilt Restorer” by Home and Garden Magazine. In 2005, one of her appliqué quilts was named one of 15 finalists in the international Marcus Brothers “Friends Around the World” challenge. She has spoken internationally and teaches, judges and lectures at venues from small local guilds to national quilt shows.

Lisa has a Master of Arts degree in Public Communication from the University of North Texas. She is an adjunct instructor at North Central Texas College. Lisa and her husband Ricky have two wonderful children and a great son-in-law. When she’s not surrounded by quilts, Lisa enjoys snow skiing and gardening. Lisa is a native Texan and lives in Gainesville with her husband and a large variety of four-footed friends.
